On page 5 of the GRI_RFP_Instructions under the Narrative Description of the Data Management Objectives, what is meant by the statement "It is essential that provision be made that video data tagged with appropriate information be included in the data submission". Is this indicating that any video data submitted to the archive be appropriately tagged? Or is this referring to an additional type of video data?

1 Answer

Video data must be tagged with appropriate information (e.g., meta data tags and the usual information about videographer name and affiliation, equipment used, format, resolution, date, time, location, depth, vehicle, or lab set up and similar information) and must be appropriately submitted to the GRI-AU and federal database or nationally recognized repository appropriate for the investigator’s discipline, as described in the RFP-I.
