RFP-VI: How to Apply

In order to be considered for funding under the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative RFP-VI, proposing researchers or consortia must submit:

  1.  A letter of intent (LOI), and
  2.  A full proposal for:
    • Individual Investigator or Collaborative Efforts
    • Research Consortia 

Please note: A LOI submission number is required in order to submit a full proposal.  If you believe you should have received a submission number and did not, please contact mfeldman@oceanleadership.org.

The timeline for proposal submission is as follows:

  • November 14, 2016 5:00 pm Eastern/ 4:00 pm Central Time – LOI from each prospective Research Project/Consortium due
  • March 3, 2017 5:00 pm Eastern/ 4:00 pm Central Time – Full proposals in response to RFP-VI are due

When preparing materials for submission, applicants are encouraged to review the Frequently Asked Questions.  Any additional questions can be submitted here.  The deadline to submit questions on RFP-VI was Friday, February 17, 2017 at 5:00 pm Eastern/ 4:00 pm Central Time. No new questions will be addressed at this time.
