The RFPI_instructions.pdf, says “for the purpose of this RFP, the co-PI is defined as the lead investigator at a member institution of the consortia)”. Is there a limit on the number of co-PIs per institution? Can there be co-PIs from the same institution as the PI? Is there a minimum number of co-PIs or institutions represented by these co-PIs (e.g., do all members of the consortium have to be represented by co-PIs or can they be represented by other key research personnel)?

There is no limit to the number of co-PIs per institution. There can be co-PIs from the same institution as the PI (Lead Investigator). For the purposes of the Consortium Governance, there is a need for a Steering Committee for the Consortium that is led by the Lead Investigator at the Lead Institution and that, as a minimum, has at least one co-PI representative of participating institutions other than the Lead Institution. See Governance and Administration of the Research Consortia in the RFP (bottom page 13 to top of page 15).
