Audit - The statement made in this clause says "both the Parties and the Research Board shall have the right, at their own expense and upon reasonable notice, to examine at reasonable intervals and during the regular business hours all research documentation and any other books, records and data relating to this Agreement or any Approved Research Projects."

Does this mean that all our research not just the particular sub-award given us for this project are subject to review? If this is the case why must we open all our research for inspection?

According to section 10.3 of the MRA, this statement only pertains to research “relating to this Agreement or any Approved Research Projects” which are funded by BP.
