Update on RFP-V for the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative

The Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative received 472 Letters of Intent (LOI) for RFP-V prior to the LOI deadline on December 15.

Oil added to the soil had a greater effect on above-ground plant growth than oiling of leaves and shoots. The exception was for repeated shoot oiling (70-rep-oil), which also reduced plant growth compared to the unoiled control. The numbers refer to percent of above-ground tissue oiled.
