RFP-II: How to Apply

In order to be considered for funding under the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative RFP-II, proposing researchers, must submit:

  1.  a letter of intent (LOI), and
  2.  a full proposal.

The timeline for proposal submission is as follows:

  • 17 January 2012  9:00 p.m. EDT – LOI from each prospective Research Project due
  • 8 March 2012  9:00 p.m. EDT – Research Project proposals in response to RFP-II are due

When preparing materials for submission, applicants are encouraged to review the Frequently Asked Questions.  Any additional questions can be submitted here.  The deadline to submit questions on RFP-II is Wednesday February 29, 2012 at 9:00pm Eastern time. No new questions will be addressed after this time.
