An alliance of gulf state governments will be in charge of doling out the biggest pot of money for scientific research on impacts of BP’s Gulf of Mexico oil spill, the company announced late yesterday.
The National Institutes of Health will launch a multi-year study this fall to look at the potential health effects from the oil spill in the Gulf region.
BP today announced significant progress in its half-billion dollar pledge to the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative (GoMRI).
