A Research Associate/Research Assistant is sought to assist in research concerning benthic ecology of marshes related to the BP DW oil spill.
Individuals should be capable of developing and managing large data sets, working in marsh, laboratory situations, generating graphic materials and information for web sites, and performing other duties in support of the research programs of Dr. Nancy Rabalais, Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium (LUMCON). Special skills of interest include invertebrate taxonomy, HPLC, SCUBA diving, multivariate statistics, and GIS. Position is with the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium (LUMCON) at the LUMCON Marine Center in Cocodrie, Louisiana. Term is up to two years, with possible continuation.
